Meet Julia
Licensed Massage Therapist
Hello and welcome!
My career as a Massage Therapist began at Cortiva Institute in 2012 where I studied. After school, I moved to Australia for a year and eventually worked as a Massage Therapist in Tasmania. I moved back to the states and began working at Elements Massage in Greenlake for two years, and then started my own practice with my mother, Lisa.
I have been working since 2017 as an Independent Contractor on Bainbridge Island. I specialize in an array of modalities that cater to each individual's needs. I will continue to work there part-time for now and am thrilled to begin practicing massage in the Seattle community. I want to contribute to healthy living and self-care in a city that I call home.
As an athlete and a believer that movement and mobility are important functions of everyday living, my approach for massage is through a network of modalities that I am trained in. It comes from compassion, and working together to find a treatment plan for each individual's goals.
The techniques that I am trained in, include but not limited to: Orthopedic Massage, Injury Treatment, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, and Neuromuscular Massage.
I grew up as a swimmer, so when I am not massaging I am in the water, on a bike, or training for triathlons. Down time, crafting, and self-care is a must too.
It is my goal to help facilitate your health and wellbeing.
